Auscom LC is a broad spectrum antibiotic tube formulated for the treatment of dairy cow mastitis. It has a notably broad spectrum of bactericidal activity against the bacteria commonly isolated from the dairy cow udder.

Indication

For the treatment of acute mastitis in lactating cows, including cases of infections associated with the following pathogens: Staphylococci (including β-lactamase producing strains), Streptococci (including S.agalactiae, S.dysgalactiae and S.uberis), Escherichia coli (including β-lactamase producing strains).

Usage and Dosage

Before the infusion is made, the teat end should be cleaned and disinfected.

The 3g of the contents should be infused into each affected quarter via the teat canal, immediately after milking, at 12 hour intervals for three consecutive milkings.

Precautions

1. The product should be used for treatment of clinical mastitis only. At duration of treatment, milk and beef are not edible.

2. People who are allergic to penicillin should not contact this product. Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the veterinary medicinal product to animals..

3. Keep out of reach of children.

4. Syringe is disposable, please discard after infusion.

Withdrawal Period

28 days for diary cow; discard time, 60 hours.
