REG1A ELISA kit, a newly released product and the only product in the world for gastrointestinal diseases screening, diagnosis, and prognosis, can be used clinically as a novel blood biomarker for gastrointestinal organic lesions/diseases by measuring the concentration of secreted REG1A protein in the serum samples in vitro.

Advantages:

1.Higher sensitivity

Data from several large-sample clinical prospective studies showed REG1A, a secretory protein which can enter the blood circulation, is ectopically over-expressed at the presence of organic disease in the GI track, so that it demonstrates excellent sensitivity to detect most common type of organic GI lesions compared to CRP (C-reactive protein, a pan-inflammation biomarker).

2.Higher stability

REC1A uses serum samples, which have strong homogeneity and good repeatability so that it decreases testing deviations dramatically.

Intended application:

Used to detect human family member 1 alpha(REGIA) in serum samples in virto, this product has three major clinical applications:

1. To distinguish functional gastrointestinal disease (FGIDs) and organic gastrointestinal diseases (OGIDs)

2. Prognostic monitoring for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD);

3. Early screening and risk stratification for potential organic gastrointestinal diseases(OGIDs) , including gastric and colorectal cancer.
