AVI Healthcare's TransNANO series of Transport Incubator has been designed to enhance safety and ensure uncompromised care during transport of sick & premature infants. TransNANO operates on microprocessor based temperature control which regulates humidity & maintains optimum thermal environment for a definite time in a clean, accessible & sizeable enclosure for undisturbed incubation even during difficult transport conditions outside the hospital premises in ambulance, car, ship or airplane.

ABS Construction makes the unit lightweight & compact yet strong which enables it to be picked single handedly & can be situated in smallest of cars.

Since the overall size of incubator is reduced, consumption of supplemental oxygen also reduces enormously. Hence, oxygen flow of 2 litres/min serves well to reach a concentration of 30% & above for effective neonatal resuscitation. Low oxygen consumption implies longer cylinder duration & hence proves to be more cost-effective to use.

The equipment allows fast air circulation inside the enclosure hence, quick & uniform thermal transmission is achieved. Traditionally, transport incubators use bulky batteries for power supply but TransNANO runs even on car battery charger socket hence it operate successfully until the engine is sufficiently fueled.

The interior of the enclosure has a fully removable soft cushioning mattress with its cover impermeable to body secretions, urine, blood, IV fluids or any chlorine based cleaning & disinfection agents. The infant is secured in position through infant positioning soft straps that enable a safe & stable transit.
