INTENDED USE

FORNIA Disposable Infusion Pump provides continuous uninterrupted drug infusion for disease treatments. It is especially suitable for post operative pain management and chemotherapy. It frees patients from traditional bed bound environment, allowing greater ambulatory freedom, therefore greatly improving the quality of life. 

WORKING PRINCIPLE

FORNIA Disposable Infusion Pump has an elastomeric membrane (silicone reservoir) which holds the medications.

When FORNIA Disposable Infusion Pump is filled, the elastomeric membrane is stretched. The elastic constriction drives the medications through the tubing.

Medications will flow at a preset flow rate which is determined by the inner diameter and length of the capillary tubing.

FORNIA Disposable Infusion Pumps do not require any electricity and are not gravity driven.
